Hey Guys! I’ve always wanted to blog here, giving you the nitty gritty of life as a Marshmallow Gypsy. I find myself self sitting in an AirBnB loft at the moment with a ‘lil time on my hands, so - no time like the present! I did not think of this fabulous idea soon enough to show you set up photos of the venue...here we go. So, today’s m’56th Birthday. I keep looking at that number. Gosh. How? It goes so quickly. We left the kitchen at 2:08pm, and I was admittedly twitchy. I even pre-apologized to Glenco, concerned that I might feel snippy or short-tempered cause I felt a wee anxious that we’d forgotten something vitally important like the torch, or the blender. Ha. Good grief. Did they move Indianapolis?? Is it further South than before? We rolled into the Ag Hort Building at the Indiana State Fairgrounds about about quarter of 5. It was a seamless roll in and set up. We were greeted immediately by a couple of nice fellas admiring the camper. It’s so hard not to just drop and shop. I mean I get flipping first dibs on the treasure! First thing I did was wash the camper exterior of the road grime, and start staging. I love this part. If I’m not careful I’ll obsess over things, such as the angle of th s’more menu! It was dark by the time we left, but driving down the historical district on Meridian Street...oh...my...word!! I can’t wait until daylight to see these homes! We stopped at Fresh Thyme and I grabbed some fresh flowers for the bgrabbed a pizza and headed to our AirBnB. I love using these. I met the coolest people, and get (usually) great accommodations for a great rate. The place we we are staying in now is a loft over a garage on a dead end street. Quiet doesn’t begin to describe this place! Here’s a few pics. It’s very clean...and comfortable. Interesting though! Yes, this tub is in the middle of the room. It seems so European! I shall be bathing in there soon! It’s very dim in here... I found a shelf full of interesting books to read, so I’m going to snuggle up somewhere after my wide open bath, and read.
The show doesn’t start until 10 tomorrow. We’ll probably get there about 8:30 so I can browse and serve other vendors. We’ll still have plenty of time to get coffee and see those amazing houses in daylight! The show is over at 5..then we crank up the legs of the camper and head North. I should be home to my cats by 9pm. :)

"Gifted some at Christmas and so glad I bought some for us. Amazing confections! The texture is sublime. The smell, divine. My 13 yr old son thinks the cookies & cream taste like heaven. I don't think I can choose just one favorite. Thank you!" |
